Steve is in his late thirties. He was a breech birth, a fact his mother later denied - although no one knows why. According to the scales he's a svelte (or skinny) 138lbs and he stands six feet one inch, although he seldom stands. He has brown eyes and (mad) hair. He lives in Hampshire, England, with an elderly dog, two budgies and a thousand tomato plants (call him if you need some!). He drives a 1985 Porsche 928 S2 and an old Peugeot 205 when taking the dog out to his favourite fields. When he's not soaking up the sun on a beach in Greece/Florida/Africa/Thailand, sleeping and getting lightly toasted, Steve is likely to be found sitting in front of his computer tearing out his hair and claiming to be writing a fresh book. His status as a professional writer rather depends on this. Sometimes when making the above claim, he is telling the truth. Not often. He's more likely to be smoking and dreaming of warm weather.
